Helping Professionals
As a professional, you face significant stress and pressure. You’re expected to perform at a high level, with others depending on you. Sometimes, the very traits that drive professional success can create challenges in personal relationships or daily life.
The good news? It doesn’t have to be one or the other. With effective therapy, you can uncover the root causes of these challenges and achieve both professional and personal success. Understanding the demands of your schedule and concerns about privacy, I offer online therapy as a flexible and confidential option.
Adolescents & Young Adults
Over the past decade, we’ve seen a steady decline in the mental health and well-being of adolescents and young adults. Currently, around 20% of U.S. adolescents have a diagnosed mental health condition, and that number continues to rise. Left untreated, these struggles can lead to worsening mental and physical health over time.
I take an upstream approach—treating the symptom alone rarely leads to lasting change. My goal is to identify the root causes of distress while helping young people develop adaptive coping strategies and discover a deeper sense of meaning in their lives.
Healthcare Professionals & First Responders
Healthcare professionals and first responders dedicate their careers to caring for others, often neglecting their own well-being. You witness trauma and heightened emotions daily, and thanks to mirror neurons, your brain naturally absorbs those emotional states—whether you realize it or not.
This can manifest in different ways:
- Coming home exhausted and snapping at loved ones for no apparent reason
- Feeling inexplicably depressed or emotionally drained
- Becoming cynical, jaded, or disconnected from your sense of empathy
Whatever you’re experiencing, it may not even be your emotions—it could be what you’ve absorbed from others. Engaging in therapy can help you separate your own emotional landscape from what you pick up at work, preventing burnout and restoring balance.
Family Sessions
Whenever possible, I encourage family involvement, especially when working with adolescents and young adults. Mental health challenges don’t occur in isolation—environment plays a crucial role in well-being.
Family therapy isn’t about placing blame. Instead, it’s an opportunity to:
- Improve communication
- Understand the motivations behind each other’s behaviors
- Strengthen family bonds through greater mutual understanding
Our Rates
One of the things that makes my practice unique is that I limit the number of clients I take on to ensure I can dedicate my full energy and resources to those I work with. For this reason, I do not accept insurance.
